If you own a Nespresso VertuoLine machine and want to make tea with capsules, you need to know one thing first: our tea pods do not fit VertuoLine machines. They are made for OriginalLine machines.
Why the capsules are different
VertuoLine capsules are larger and dome-shaped. OriginalLine capsules are smaller and bell-shaped. The machines read and open them in different ways, so a capsule from one family will not work in the other.
How to check which machine you have
- Look at the capsules you use now. Small and bell-shaped means OriginalLine. Large and dome-shaped means VertuoLine.
- Open the lid. A machine with a round, wide capsule opening is VertuoLine.
- Check the model name on the back or the bottom of the machine.
What if I have a VertuoLine machine?
You have two simple options:
- Brew tea the usual way with a kettle and a tea bag or loose leaf tea.
- If you also have a Keurig-style brewer at home or at the office, use our tea capsules for K-Cup brewers.
What if I have an OriginalLine machine?
Then you are in the right place. Our tea pods for OriginalLine machines brew in about 30 to 45 seconds. If you want to try several flavors, start with a variety pack.
